God reveals Himself through the Scriptures. Scriptures reveal truth, truth that sets us free from lies, sin, and fear.
Too often I have heard women say that it is too hard to study the bible or stay engaged when they are reading. That’s why I teach Bible study and Bible journaling. Bible journaling gives us a creative way to read, reflect and apply scriptures to our lives. Bible journaling connects us with the heart of Jesus!
Here is a recap of the scriptures I have taught during the Anchored Women’s first year of workshops. You can use them to serve as Bible journaling prompts. On one side you’ll find a scripture reference, on the other you’ll find a short devotional thought to help you reflect on the story or scripture and some questions to help you get started journaling.
How to use these postcards
- Print the double-sided cards and tape them into your Bibles
- Write your prayers on the back side of the card
- Answer the questions I’ve included on the backside of the card to help you organize your thoughts on how you can apply this scripture to your life
- If you don’t want to print them, you can simply use the scriptures as prompts and journal your thoughts, prayers, and some kind of a visual reminder in your Bibles
