None of us can ever be fully pleasing to God if we are not willing to be well taught in His Word. ~ A.W. Tozer
I used to only open my Bible on Sunday at church. It would sit on a shelf, neglected, and dusty, for the next six days. Can you relate?
I quit trying to engage God’s Word on my own. I was losing out on life-altering truth.
When we neglect to open God’s Word, we forfeit the benefits of a full relationship with Him.
As a visual learner, Bible journaling opened up new understanding for me. Bible Journaling has helped me connect with, apply, and remember God’s Word in a very personal way.
My journaling Bible has become a sort of spiritual diary #MyBibleMyDiary and it goes with me just about everywhere I go.
My journaling Bible has traveled with me on family vacations up and down the East Coast, and has even been with me in the mission fields of Peru.
My journaling Bible gives me a place to document what God is revealing to me as I spend time in His Word. I’m documenting my relationship with Him, writing more intentional prayers, and recording all the incredible lessons I’m learning along the way.
My hope in sharing my journaling process is simple. I hope to encourage you to engage God’s word, help you explore your creative side, and discover the truth about who God is, who He says you are and encourage you to live your life with God’s purpose in mind.
Some of my journaling is very personal so I won’t be sharing my entire Bible but I will share key scriptures and reflection questions.
