I have enjoyed Bible Journaling so much that I don’t travel without my journaling Bible and a few basic supplies. I put this basic kit together using a very inexpensive tote from Ulta (I got it on sale!). On long road trips it easily fits in the back seat of the car or in the trunk.
Here’s what I pack in my travel kit:
- Journaling Bible
- A ring with some of my favorite washi tape. When space is an issue or I am flying I typically grab two or three rolls that match the current devotional kit.
- A devotional kit from Illustrated Faith. I don’t always use a kit. I alternate between using a kit, studying verses from Sunday’s sermons, themes I may be studying, etc. There’s inspiration all around!
- Watercolors or acrylic paints and brushes
- Distress ink
- Date stamp and a Stazon ink pad
Bible journaling has become so popular that there are lots of places where you can purchase Illustrated Faith journaling supplies and tons of other faith based or standard art supplies from like Dayspring, Amazon, Michael’s and Hobby Lobby.
What you use is not as important as how much time you devote to Bible journaling and Bible study. Find what works for you and have fun learning, praying and getting some truth in your hearts.
